Canadian software company announces new channel program
The Canadian virtualization firm VM6 Software has announced a new global partner program in conjunction with its new small business-friendly product line.
The company, which makes all of its sales through channel partners, helps other businesses use their computing resources more efficiently.
Included in the new channel incentive program will be technical training, joint marketing programs and other incentives to motivate resellers. Officials said that the company’s recent history as a reseller itself gave it a good perspective on how to help its own partners.
"By providing training, joint marketing programs and synergies between our sales teams and partners, we are confident our partners will succeed," said Eric Courville, chief operating officer and co-founder of VM6 Software. "Our goal is to support their ongoing efforts to expand their offerings, drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction."
The company recently changed its product line to allow it to be more marketable to small businesses, ChannelWeb reports. The new line hopes to seize on the popularity of a free trial version of a similar program, which was included with a number of server software packages.
