Channel sales paying dividends for SugarCRM
Open-source CRM developer SugarCRM says that its Open+ channel program has enjoyed extremely strong growth over the first half of this year – adding 50 new resellers to go along with strong sales from its existing partners.
The program offers a number of channel incentive programs, including marketing assistance and giving partners several product licenses for internal use in their own companies.
"Our partners play a critical role selling and deploying SugarCRMs commercial products, said Delbert Ross, vice president of channel sales at the company. As a result, we are laser focused on working with and enabling our new and existing partners to insure their success."
The company says that approximately 70 percent of all its new sales now occur through its channel partners.
SugarCRM’s channel program has also earned a number of industry awards. Back in March, Everything Channel named the company one of the top IT vendors in North America and gave the Open+ program a five-star rating. The firm was also recently named one of the Top 100 Cloud Computing companies by CRN magazine.
