Cisco to enhance its learning program for partners

Cisco has announced enhancements to its Authorized Learning Partner Program, aligning the program more closely with its technology architecture strategy. The changes will benefit partners by meeting their training needs through technology improvements such as borderless networks, data center virtualization and collaboration.

The Learning Partner Program currently has more than 380 authorized partners around the world that reach more than 300,000 technology professionals on a yearly basis. The training services offered to partners are an incentive to help them improve their understanding of Cisco solutions and increase productivity and profitability.

Cisco’s senior vice president of Worldwide Partner Go-to-Market, Edison Peres, called the company’s authorized training essential to Cisco’s channel program.

"By recognizing Cisco Learning Partners who support the evolution to an architectural approach, Cisco is ensuring the continued success of our partners as they look to strengthen and deepen their skills as trusted business advisers for customers around the world," he said.

The company made channel partner news at the end of last month with the announcement of its Cisco Teaming Incentive Program. This initiative rewards partners for investing in consulting and professional services.
