Distributor announces enhancements to incentive programs
North American distributor D&H Distributing announced this month an increased investment in several of its reseller programs. The new benefits are designed to help small IT resellers, larger-scale VARs and a range of retailers and dealer customers.
For the second quarter of 2010, D&H has created an SMB incentive program with Lenovo, which offers prizes for qualifying product purchases. The “$MB Think Outside the Box” program is a plateau-based rewards plan which allows participants to earn points on three levels for prizes such as video cameras, eBook readers and new computers.
Mary Campbell, vice president of marketing at D&H Distributing, said the company’s programs “build in a certain scalability” that doesn’t exclude anyone. “Our programs tend to have a low-volume entry point to accommodate the independent reseller, yet our higher-tier customers can still see significant gains across several of the markets we serve,” she said.
In addition to the “$MB Think Outside the Box” program, D&H has also quadrupled the number of vendors participating in its Incentives Rewards Program.
D&H Distributing was founded in 1918 as a tire retreading service, according to the company’s website. Today, the firm describes itself as one of the leading technology distributors in North America.
