Ektron overhauls incentive program for channel partners

Increased access to web and social media tools, training and certification exams are among the improvements that web content developer Ektron is offering its channel partners as part of a new incentive program.

Ektron, which specializes in web content, marketing and internet optimization for a range of industries, is moving to train its partners and create a knowledgeable, accredited sales force that can better meet customers' needs. Its website will provide a new portal with access to the tools that partners need to succeed.

"Choosing qualified partners to deploy effective web strategies that ensure our customers' brands are promoted in a protected, positive and integrated way is a core Ektron value," said Ektron's CEO, Bill Rogers. "The new portal gives our Partners direct access to the information, tools, methodologies and technologies to help customers achieve business-critical success with Ektron."

The website will offer monthly webinars to assist with continuing education and training. It will also provide an exam system that allows partners to become accredited and benefit from higher levels of access to data, surveys and sales assistance.

Ektron was founded in 1998 and focuses on customizing websites. It has more than 8,000 clients, including Carnegie Hall, Home Depot and the University of Notre Dame.
