Networking company tweaks program to address emerging tech markets
Brocade, a networking consultancy group, announced Wednesday it has adapted its Brocade Alliance Partner Network to reward its partners for investment in information technologies such as cloud computing, network convergence and virtualization.
As cloud computing becomes an increasingly vital sector of the tech industry, companies large and small are working to achieve a substantial market share. The announcement from Brocade suggests the company's recognition of this growing trend, while their implementation of a channel rewards program for cloud computing investors is hoped to further progress the blossoming industry.
To strengthen the new program, the company has announced a number of new initiatives including value incentive programs that "are true pay-for-performance programs that focus on quality in partnership deliverables, such as specializations and a set of measurable objectives, as a way for partners to increase their incentive payouts on a cumulative basis."
"Open to both distributor and Elite reseller partners, the VIPs are structured to reward and recognize partners who invest in expanding their personnel expertise and skill sets," said the company in a press release.
The program shows how channel incentives can help spur emerging markets. Although only in its infancy, many believe the program will contribute to specialization and expertise across tech industries.
