Ruckus Wireless releases new channel incentives

WLAN manufacturer Ruckus Wireless has rolled out a volume incentive program for its top-performing channel partners, ChannelWeb reports.

According to the magazine, the program will give the company’s resellers additional incentives on top of their existing channel partner discounts, as well as lead generation and other programs.

"We’ve been trying to do more for partners that invest in us and really reward them for their continued partnership," John Sampson, Ruckus’ director of global channel programs, told the magazine. "We’ve tried to keep it simple. The suggestion came from our partner community, and not only are we trying to reward those partners for their past performance, but also incent those partners that may be on the cusp."

The magazine reports that last month the company rolled out its healthcare promotion, which allowed partners to offer free products to medical centers and clinics. The healthcare promotion is set to run for 12 months.

The company has quickly become one of the industry leaders in WLAN technology. A recent Gartner study ranked the company as the No. 1 vendor in the industry, with an annual growth rate of 105 percent.
