Akamai announces launch of new NetAlliance Partner Program on a global platform

A leading provider of cloud-based services for web optimization and mobile content applications and e-commerce security recently announced its new incentive program for partners, which is designed for worldwide information technology solutions.

Akamai Technologies plans to implement its new NetAlliance Partner Program for the benefit of its partners. The program will integrate Akamai’s services on a global scale and distribute those services to Akamai’s partners.

“As the demands on today’s enterprise rapidly evolve, IT decision makers must find the optimal solutions for cloud computing, security, mobile strategies, and site and application performance,” said Brad Rinklin, vice president of Global Marketing & Alliances for Akamai.

Akamai already has an established reputation with forging global alliances with IT leaders and will follow that trend with the NetAlliance Partner Program. Akamai will use this new program to recruit integrators for both hardware and software. It will also benefit service providers for infrastructure and digital media platform providers that focus on commerce and are committed to aiding its customers in achieving success with the Cloud.

Akamai’s NetAlliance Partner Program builds on the past success of prior programs by enabling members to increase global reach through an all-encompassing platform. The new program also also users to add and scale revenue streams, leverage integrated solutions in hybrid-cloud markets, help customers reduce cost and improve efficiencies and access market development funds and Akamai’s training programs.

Martin Haring, vice president of International Marketing and Channels at Akamai, said that the company’s partners use the platform to defeat inefficiencies and inaccuracies that lay across the landscape of the information superhighway. He added that NetAlliance partners, in conjunction with Akamai, are helping the internet evolve into a reliable and efficient platform for cloud services.
