AMD partner program receives recognition from Everything Channel
Advanced Micro Devices has been recognized for its AMD Fusion Partner Program. Everything Channel recently named the company one of the top IT vendors in North America and awarded its partner program a five-star rating.
The five-star recognition was given in the enterprise category as part of Everything Channel’s 2010 Partner Program Guide. The designation is a reflection of the partner program’s strength and commitment to reseller partners, including IT integrators, consultants and technology solution providers.
Launched in September 2009, the AMD Fusion Partner Program consolidates the company’s existing partner programs into one. Partners are provided with resources and customized incentive benefits designed to meet their specific business needs and help them accelerate development and sales.
"Our partners are one of the most important pieces of our business and we aim to continually improve and simplify the way they do business with AMD," said David Kenyon, AMD’s vice president of worldwide channel marketing. "This honor continues to validate the success of our channel program."
According to the Associated Press, AMD is the world’s No. 2 provider of microprocessors. Earlier this month, the news agency reported that Standard & Poor’s was considering upgrading the company’s credit rating following improved financial results.
