Channel partners of the year announced by F5 networks
The global application delivery provider F5 Networks has announced its 2009 Channel Partners of the Year Awards for North America. The program is designed to recognize and reward partners for improving sales performance, providing resources to customers and maintaining an updated F5 solution portfolio.
Gary Abad, F5’s vice president of North America channel sales, said the company’s partners are sharing in the company’s success "through innovative, effective channel sales and marketing efforts." He also said that F5 "offer[s] partner programs unlike any others in the industry – programs that help partners strengthen client accounts and drive sales."
As criteria for the recognition and an incentive to drive performance, the growth of each partner during 2009 was examined, and pre- and post-sales technical resources and engagement strategies were considered. The awards for top-performing partners will be presented at the company’s partner summit this summer.
F5 Networks will be participating in the Cowen and Company 38th Annual Technology Media & Telecom Conference in New York City on June 2. The conference will feature a host of companies, including Accenture, Brocade Communications and Motorola.
