Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine lists top women working in technology solutions
Fujitsu, a leading provider of global marketplace ICT-based business solutions with operations in more than 70 countries, announced that Nina Lutjens, its vice president of sales for Fujitsu Computer Products of America, has been honored as one of the top “Women of the Channel” in 2011.
The honor, bestowed upon Lutjens by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine, is part of an annual event that recognizes the major players in an incentive program that epitomizes success in the information technology and business solutions universe.
CRN Magazine’s “Women of the Channel” award recognizes female executives for their achievements and influential accomplishments that have been made in the technology channel over the past year. Lutjens earned the honor for her work at Fujitsu.
“This year’s ‘Women of the Channel’ list honors those female executives who epitomize success within the IT channel–a traditionally male-centric industry,” said Kelley Damore, vice president & editorial director, Everything Channel. “Whether they come from tier-one vendors, VAR500 solution providers or just bring a bevy of channel experience that cannot be ignored, the 2011 ‘Women of the Channel’ list will recognize the most influential women of the channel based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry.”
During her time at Fujitsu, Lutjens has accumulated more than 21 years of experience in the technology sales and marketing fields. She has introduced innovative and creative program initiatives to the Fujitsu One Capture Alliance Program.
“By working hard and continually striving for excellence in your everyday life, there is nothing you can’t achieve,” said Nina Lutjens, vice president of sales, Fujitsu Computer Products of America.
Lutjens added that she will continue to make her company’s channel program and partners a top priority moving into next year with the plan being to make sure they have the tools, support and training necessary for success on all corners.
Avnet Technology Solutions, a leader in global information technology solutions, was also included in Everything Channel’s CRN. Cheryl Neal, the company’s vice president of vendor management and Technology Infrastructure Solutions group, and Nicole Enright, vice president of strategic enablement services, were both named to the “Power 100 Women of the Channel” list.
Gale Brown, vice president of services for Avnet’s IBM Solution’s Group, was also recognized as one of the leading female executives working in the channel.
