Ingram Micro launches new incentive program for partners

The California-based technology distribution firm Ingram Micro has created a new Lexmark Toner Advantage Program, which will give new incentives to its U.S. partners.

Partner companies will receive a three-year price guarantee on toner costs, and also pass along significant rewards for the sale of select printers and other supplies.

"A first of its kind, this unique incentive program from Lexmark and Ingram Micro enables our mutual channel partners to deliver greater business value to their customers while maintaining a healthy margin and establishing an ongoing service engagement by locking in the supplies business with Ingram Micro at a guaranteed price for three years," says Kevin Prewett, vice president of vendor management for Ingram Micro’s U.S. operations.

In addition, the company’s partners will have access to expanded product demonstration capabilities, which can help them achieve even higher sales targets.

The company is currently enjoying a strong period of growth. Late last month, Ingram Micro announced that its second-quarter earnings had beaten expectations by bringing in more than $67 million – a 168-percent increase compared with the second quarter of 2009.
