KineticD tops rebranding with increased channel focus
KineticD, a Toronto, Canada-based cloud storage firm, is completing its recent rebranding efforts by putting an increased emphasis on channel sales, eChannel Line reports.
The site says that the company, which started its life as Data Deposit Box, aims to decrease its effort in direct sales and gain additional customers through its resellers.
"We needed to take a more agile approach to the market," Lee Garrison, the company’s vice president of marketing, told the site. "It’s the same kind of customers, direct and indirect, but we find a lot of the ones who come through the partner are stickier, they are a lot more loyal."
KineticD currently offers three different partner levels: standard resellers, co-branded opportunities and a full white label program – through which partners can put their own brand on the products. The company offers partners a number of incentive programs, including technical support, sales incentives and free training for its two highest partner levels.
The company has already developed co-branded relationships with several major entities, including CenturyLink, Nerds on Site and Best Buy’s Geek Squad program.
