LogRhythm introduces channel partner program
The log management and security information event management vendor LogRhythm has announced a new channel partner program, eChannelLine reports. The program is intended for security oriented value-added resellers in the Americas.
LogRhythm hopes to help VARs take advantage of the growing market for integrated log management and SIEM solutions while gaining ground on the company’s competitors. As a result, the channel incentive program currently groups partners into a single tier.
"We are late to the market, competing against vendors with established channel programs," Preston Lawhorne, vice president of sales for LogRhythm, told eChannelLine. "We had to be different, which is why we have a single tier program."
Among the incentives for partners will be deal registration protection, support from designated sales professionals and cooperative marketing opportunities. In addition, partners will have access to a designated portal with sales tools and placement systems for them to use.
LogRhythm made news last month when its solutions were chosen by the Bank of the West to handle data collection on security and network devices. Network World reported the decision was made after third-party support for Cisco’s MARS system was ended.
