New document management reseller program launched by Motive Systems

Motive Systems, a document management software firm, has created a new channel incentive program for resellers and managed service providers of its M-files software.

A starter kit for new partners will include several licenses, demos, marketing assistance and qualified sales leads. The company is also giving partners an incentive to join the program quickly. Fast-moving partners located in metro areas have the opportunity to gain exclusive territories if they meet the company’s qualification requirements.

"We’ve been piloting the program here in the US and Canada for the past few months," said Scott Erickson, channel manager at Motive Systems. "We’re actively coordinating integration projects to offer targeted solutions to channel partners carrying complementary solutions such as SAGE Software, Microsoft Dynamics, Intuit QuickBooks and hardware devices such as scanners and multi-function printers."

EChannelLine reports that while the company has traditionally relied on direct sales, the new program is part of Motive Systems’ new focus on tailoring its services for the quickly-growing small business market. The company – which started in Finland – currently has 25 partners in the U.S.
