Printing and software company enhancing channel partner program
Seeking to increase its number of sales partners and improve brand recognition, InfoPrint Solutions is making major changes to its channel partner program.
The company already has approximately 90 channel partners in North America, which are involved in about 95 percent of sales. But vice president Dan Boe believes channel partners are an integral part of the sales team, according to ITBusiness. He is also targeting more partner growth in Canada.
The Solution Partners Program now offers InfoPrint University, a training and online education resource for partners. The program has training sessions using hands-on experience and tutors to help with hardware solutions.
Partners can also attend classes and seminars at the Boulder, Colorado, headquarters. The educational resource will allow more interaction between partners and InfoPrint staff.
"Our short-term goal is to establish ourselves as the go-to partner for partners," Boe told the news source. "It’s almost re-establishing us as a company in terms of getting our partners and customers to understand that we’re a viable option for them from a digital output standpoint."
In July, InfoPrint became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ricoh. Boe said last month that the response of partners to the channel program enhancements has been positive.
