Revised VTech channel incentive program allows partners to target small businesses
VTech Communications – also known as Advanced American Telephones – has announced a new channel incentive program geared toward allowing its partner companies to better target small and medium-sized businesses as potential clients.
“VTech recognizes that solution providers are an integral extension of our sales force to reach the SMB market,” said Mike Tierney, vice president of sales for Advanced American Telephones. “With the SMB Channel Partner program, we’ve formalized a slate of much-needed programs and services to help our partners attract new customers in a tough economic environment.”
The company, which makes phones and headsets under the AT&T brand, says its new tiered sales incentive program will help partners shorten the sales cycle and better target small companies in the retail, healthcare and restaurant markets. The company says its program will also give partners marketing support, networking opportunities and other special promotions.
In addition to the products it manufactures for AT&T, the company may be more well-known for its wide-ranging line of children’s electronic devices. As a whole, the company made $1.5 billion in revenues in its most recent fiscal year, which ended last March.
