SED introduces bonus points promotion to its rewards program
Supply chain management provider and technology distributor SED International Holdings has announced the addition of a bonus points drawing to its SED Rewards incentive program. Participants in the program earn reward points monthly by purchasing eligible products.
For every 10 points earned by SED customers on purchases from vendor partners, they will receive one entry into the bonus drawing. Entries will be added through June 30, 2010, with the drawing taking place in July.
The first place winner will be awarded 1,000 bonus rewards points, with the second and third place winners receiving 500 and 250 bonus rewards points, respectively.
Rob P. Kalman, vice president of U.S. marketing for SED, said the rewards program has been an “extremely successful initiative” since it was launched in 2008. “We believe this bonus points promotion is an excellent way for SED to generate additional value for both our customers and vendor partners, while rewarding them for their continued loyalty to SED,” he said.
Last week, power supplies manufacturer American Power Conversion introduced its own points-based reward program for partners. A report from ChannelWeb said points from APC’s program could be redeemed for a variety of products and experiences.
