Summer channel incentive program introduced by Gigabyte
In what could be a valuable international example, Gigabyte Technology has announced an updated version of its Gigabyte Channel Incentive Program. According to ChannelTimes, the program, known as Gigabyte Summer Sensation, will run through the end of this month and be available to the company’s registered motherboard reseller partners in India.
The channel incentive program is the fifth in a row from the company, the website reports, and it is designed to both increase the brand’s influence during the summer buying season and reward reseller partners for outstanding sales performance.
"We hope the attractive scheme will help expand our present base of registered motherboard reseller partners, especially in newer B, C and D class locations," Gigabyte India’s general manager MB, Rajan Sharma, was quoted as saying.
The company’s products are currently distributed in India by Avnet, Ingram Micro, Redington and Neoteric Infomatique.
Headquartered in Taiwan, Gigabyte Technology has a significant international presence, including branches in countries such as Germany, Spain, Russia and the United States. According to the company’s website, it will be showcasing a number of innovative notebook solutions at the COMPUTEX 2010 show taking place in Taipei.
