Titus Labs creates new channel incentive for partners
Security software provider Titus Labs has announced a new channel incentive program that will offer support, training and enhanced sales margins to its partners.
The incentive program is the first for the seven-year-old business, which offers software for companies to prevent data loss or theft on Microsoft-based platforms. Titus Labs’ vice president of sales, Scott Morin, said 75 percent of business goes through channel partners.
The sales margin advantages will help partners increase sales and profits. Morin told IT Business that the base sales margin starts at 20 percent.
"If [partners] introduce us to an opportunity, we give an extra five points," Mortin said, noting that partners who use Titus Labs’ emaiI and advertising technology will receive another 2.5 points. "Also, if [partners are] technically trained, there’s another 2.5 points of margin they can earn."
Mortin said the company had signed on 10 new partners in just the few days since the channel incentive was announced.
Earlier this month the U.S. Air Force announced that it was contracting with Titus Labs to provide its secure email and document marking services. The Air Force will use the technology for online communications among its 150,000 employees.
