WatchGuard launches pair of channel incentive programs

The Washington-based computer security firm WatchGuard has launched a pair of new incentive programs for its channel partners as it comes off of one its strongest financial quarters.

The first initiative – an incentive program for resellers in Australia and new Zealand – gives the company’s top-selling partners a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the island of Bali this October. Officials said the program was motivated by its strong recent sales growth. The company recently announced that its revenues in New Zealand rose 80 percent in its most recent fiscal quarter.

The company has also begun its Security Pays program, which gives rewards to salespeople for strong performances during sales and promotions.

"2010 has been a great year for WatchGuard ANZ, not only in terms of revenue growth, but also in market recognition for our product offering and the ongoing support from our channel, who remain loyal and committed," said Scott Robertson, the company’s regional director for Australia and New Zealand.

WatchGuard has strong employee recognition programs as well. Seattle Business Monthly magazine recently honored the company by naming it one of Washington State’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.
